Elephant and Piggie want to go play outside, but it is raining. Soon they find they enjoy playing in the rain, but then it gets sunny again!
I like how simple the illustrations are and how the font gets bigger when they express big emotions. I'd like to have lots of these books in my class; they are simple yet fun.

Mo Willems has done it again! My personal favorite, a two page spread of an angry piggy. PRICELESS!!! ( )

Piggie is very excited to go outside, but then it starts to rain! Piggie is grumpy, but her rhetorical question - "How can anyone play outside with all this rain?!?" - is answered by some cheerful worms. Gerald and Piggie give playing in the rain a chance, and discover they like it - and then the sun comes out again.
