Rhythmic verse leads you through a wild kingdom where animals burst from every page. Monkeys are scritch, scritch, scratchin', and kangaroos are hop, hop, hoppin', making every moment an adventure. This book incorporates a song into the story of the picture book. Inside the front and back covers, the tune of the song is written in musical notation. Each page of the book then contains the lyrics of a different verse or chorus. By reading/singing through the book, children get the whole story. The story is basically telling about the different animals that the family see at the zoo, including elephants, monkeys, etc. Review: Book about a father who brings his children to the zoo.
