( ![]() Keith Baker’s picture book is excellent for young readers. It provides bright pictures with lots of familiar things that you would find in the backyard. The boy character in the book watches the path of a hummingbird flying. He then creates a wonderful painting showing the different shapes and ways the hummingbird flew all over the yard. The words are very fun and descriptive to the motions of the hummingbird flight path. Also for added fun for toddlers and preschoolers there are hidden caterpillars on each page of the book which adds another element to the story.
