This book tells the story of Ralph, an explorer who is having trouble thinking of a new place to go. As he's thinking, an icicle falls on his head and he decides to travel to the North Pole. Ralph gathers the necessities and off he goes. Along the way, he loses his sled dogs and ends up all alone. Soon he sees an igloo, and inside he meets a friendly polar bear who is also traveling to the North Pole. They begin traveling together, and once again, the blizzard results in Ralph being lost and alone. Just when he is about to give up hope, he reunites with the polar bear and finds out that they made it to the North Pole! ( )

Ralph is an explorer, and when he runs out of places to explore, he decides to venture to the North Pole. Ralph laughs at all the dangers and obstacles he comes across. He meets a polar bear that is an explorer headed to the North Pole, too. They decide to travel together, and then a storm comes. Ralph loses the bear because he blends into the snow. Once again, he is alone. The storm sends Ralph flying through the air, and by chance, he is reunited with his friend. The two find the North Pole. This book has incredible illustrations! ( )
