No David! (urspr publ 1998; utgåvan 2000)

This story has won several book awards and is a great story wordless picture book about a little boy David who gets himself into lots of trouble. This book is a classic and a story that many children and adults' can relate to once old enough to understand. It tells the story of of David and how his curiosity gets the best of him. I would use this in the classroom to depict what could happen to children if children get too out of control but I don't know if I would introduce it in a way that was necessarily good. ( )

This book can be used to demonstrate how students need to act in the class and how not to act. This book goes through what david does, but he tends to be naughty. We can use this book to show how not to behave and guide our students to think about what we DO what to see in our class. ( )

realistic fiction-

The story tells of a young boy who is constantly being told “no” or “stop” or “not in the house” by his mother, and he begins to feel like he can do nothing right. At the end of the story he is summoned to his mother who hugs him and tells him, “Yes David, I love you!”

I chose this book because I think it would be a good book for children to read. Sometimes the are told no a lot and they may start to feel discouraged. This book shows that the adults in their lives love them and care about, and only want the best for them. ( )

A fun book about a boy named David and all the things he is not suppose to do. Gives readers a good sense of what good behavior is. ( )
