Laddar... The Complete Anne of Green Gables [Books 1-8]av L. M. Montgomery
![]() Det finns inga diskussioner på LibraryThing om den här boken. I read this series years ago and it remains one of my favorite series and Anne one of my favorite characters! Done replaced on 10th of August 2021. Almost cried when it damaged due to white ant apocalypse. One of my all time favorite series of books. I love all the books but I think the best book of this series is Anne of the Island. Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Aveonlea and Anne of Windy Poplars are my next favorite. Anne's House of Dreams is also great and the last ones are very fun! A timeless classic. For a long time, my daughter wanted to 'be' Anne with an 'e'. It isn't a coincidence that my granddaughter's middle name is Anne. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension

Matthew Cuthbert, Gilbert Blythe and Aunt Josephine were always my favourite characters, and they remained so. However, I was surprised by how much I liked Anne and Marilla. For some unknown reason, I have always remembered Marilla as a hard, unforgiving woman, but I discovered she really had a heart of gold and loved Anne as though she was her own daughter.
As for Anne herself, she used to annoy me with the antics and continual talking, but this time I admired her incorrigible spirit, her love of nature, her vivid imagination and her passion for stories. In fact I found myself close to tears at times when she talked about her past life.
Although written over a century ago, I found" Anne of Green Gables" a charming, delightful read which still has much appeal for today's modern readers. (
