He knows his mom would rather have a unique picture created by himself. He shows of his creation and inspires the rest of his class to be creative too. This book is about a boy who doesn’t want to color a copied flower picture like everyone else for their Mother’s Day present. Instead, he turns the paper over and makes his own flower picture for his mom. His classmates saw his drawing and they too agreed their moms would also prefer an original picture they drew themselves. This story is about his teacher's entreaties that it would be perfect for Mother's Day, Max refused to color in the same flower pictures as the rest of the calass.
