Nuove avventure per l’avvocato Dillard che, abbandonate le vesti di difensore, si trova ora a lavorare dalla parte della giustizia. Ma le cose non sono di certo più semplici.
Un altro avvincente libro della serie, dove le vicende personali del protagonista si intrecciano a quelle lavorative sino a creare una storia intrigante che, pur nella sua tragicità e crudezza, mi ha nuovamente convinto. (

I did think that some of the Satan-worshiping aspect was a bit overcooked, but, overall, I think this book is a brilliant read. The storyline is engaging, Dillard is a character you just get closer to as you get further along, and the legal aspect kept me hooked even if the rest of it had failed.

I admit, I always have trouble following through on series that I only have on Kindle, due to all the competition for entertainment media, but this one is the rare bird where that only gets easier as I read more of it. (

The second book in the series lived up to the first.
So many times when I read a new author the first book is like WHOA and then I am bored to tears for the next book in the series.
Scott Pratt did NOT disappoint. Honestly this one may have been a tad bit better than the first. I have to say that I was intrigued by the writing and did not want to lay the book down. For a romance, SMUT Junkie that is saying a LOT. Great Read. Can't wait to read Injustice for All.. (

Really enjoying Scott Pratt's Joe Dillard series, as have never read any of his books, until starting with Book #1 and now Book #2, making my way to #3 - #6. Listening to the audio book, Tim Campbell is a perfect match for the author, with a stellar performance for all voices.

I seldom read older books, and try and stay with new releases and ARCs; however, in between these, if I find an intriguing legal crime thriller series which grabs me, I am in. This happens to be one of those. Review to follow. (

A good, solid story with well-developed characters and interesting side stories. My first read by Scott Pratt whose other books I am looking forward to reading. (
