Summary: This book talks about the brotherhood of pirates and their way of life. They were of misfits and thug like and they just waited for any little moment or opportunity for adventure or excitement. As well ad their riches that could get them wounded or killed but they still endured the ups and downs of a pirates life because they swore the oath of brotherhood. Personal Reaction: This book was funny to me because it really showed the lives of pirates as us grown ups see them as not good people. It was an exciting book that I liked especially becasue there is very few books that I think boys find interesting especially when it comes to poetry. I think they would love this one. Classroom Ideas: I would definitely read this for my classrooms because I enjoyed the art in it and I know the children would enjoy it especially my male students. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension

There are famous pirates, and then there are the rest of the pirates. All were a bunch of misfits, thugs, and ne'er-do-wells who spent most of their time bored, waiting for a few moments of excitement and rich booty that could very well get them wounded or killed, or captured and executed. But to most of those who swore the oath of the Brotherhood, it was just a job. Still, a pirate's life was chosen by many, and this collection describes and depicts the high points, the low points, and everything in between. Inga biblioteksbeskrivningar kunde hittas. |
