It's a part of the series involving Laurie Montgomery and her husband Jack Stapleton, both Medical Examiners. The book was intense and moving; the only negative being that Montgomery plays too big a role. The story as always talks waxes eloquent with even 'family' members like Louie saying "in this business sometimes you need to use violence to keep the peace." Laurie as always, bemoans the marriage of medicine and business. In Cure, the plot centers on stem cells and the highly profitable potential of such discoveries. I loved the other Laurie Montgomery and Jack Stapleton books but this one was a bit convoluted and overly complex. Cook tried to fit too much into a medical mystery book (did not need a 3 page list of characters). None of the characters were very well developed. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
