Putin's Oil: The Yukos Affair and the Struggle for Russia (utgåvan 2010)

Don't ask why I am interested in things that seem so distant from the daily life of most of us. Now that's what interests me - Putin's oil. The truth is that in this sense I may have been a little late or that I could say that I knew in advance the end theory of the book.

Nevertheless, this is an excellent book - a fascinating documentary about all the oligarchs of Russia, some of whom are no longer living there and others no longer live in general. The book tells of corruption in Russia and how Putin returns the Russian to the Stalin era. It is incredible to see how the Kremlin tramples on human freedom and rights gained in the fall of the Communists. This is a must-read book for every amateur of history, and in general for general education. ( )
