I enjoyed the characters especially Beast. :-) Not bad. A good read. I liked the characters, although I would have liked more action from them. Have sent this off to a friend. Really fun weekend read. Loved it...similar to Stephanie Plum series. Read all Janet's books and as along as Lorelei King iks performing - sure to please. Get the audio to enjoy it at its best. STUFF introduces Cate, a Boston native from a large and crazy Irish family. Cate has far too much going on to get involved in extracurricular activities, like men and marriage. She spends all day in school, earning her teaching degree, and all night working as a bartender in Boston's South End. Ex-cop Kellen McBride has decided to make Cate's bar his nightly haunt. He likes Cate's sassy Irish spirit and wild red hair. He also has an ulterior motive for getting close to her. Cate has sworn off all things romantic, but when she comes home to a ransacked apartment, a roommate who has flown the coop, and a sleeping bullmastiff named Beast, Cate has no choice but to ask Kellen for help. Can Kate resist the charming Kellen McBride while keeping herself out of danger? Or will Kellen turn up the heat on Cate and everything in her life? inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
"Cate Madigan isn't asking for trouble. Her wacky Irish family is constantly playing matchmaker for her with men who leave much to be desired. All she wants is peace and quiet and a nice place to live while she saves her money from tending bar in a lively Boston pub. Okay, so what if her roommate is a cross-dressing lounge singer named Mary Longfellow? In exchange for cheap rent, all she has to do is take care of his plants and collect his mail when he's out of town. And then... Marty disappears"--Container. Review: This was really entertaining. I did like the addition of a crime into the story. (
