Amazing Faces allows you too see the characteristic of what makes us all different but yet brings us together . This award is wining book I would use to so the different races we have around the world . This book has a combination of poems about different people and where they live. This would be great for an English class as it great examples of poems in it and it could students write poems. If doing a lesson with poems you could have the students write a poem about themselves or something significant in their lives that makes them unique. Amazing Faces is a collection of sixteen short poems about the different cultures, languages, emotions and people in our world. This book would be great to teach poetry to children, as well as about diversity. I believe that the students will be able to see themselves represented in this book, so they can relate to specific poems. Each of the poems have illustrations that go with the poem, which make it more interesting and engaging for the children. This book can be used to teach imagery. The author uses imagery to show the universal emotions and feelings everyone experiences. This poetry book nicely shows how people are unique. It gives a good hint at how every person is different. These poems range from children to adults. Many poems also talk about specific occupations. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
