- Writer, lecturer and broadcaster; Richard Cavendish has been a leading authority on Magic and Witchcraft and is the author of 'The Black Arts', a study of the European tradition of magic.
Educated at Christ's hospital and Brasenose College, Oxford, he has travelled extensively in the United States and the Far East, and is the author of many novels.

Serious and important Encyclopedia with an editorial board that includes: C A Burland, Glyn Daniel, E R Dodds. Mircea Eliade, William Sargant, John Symonds, R J Zwi Werblosky and R C Zaehner.
Got these when they came out, then replaced them after the housefire. WONDERFUL illustrations, good index. More random articles than I'd like.
January 1970 saw the release of this unique weekly magazine (every Thursday), that focused its attentions on everything to do with the supernatural. No expense was spared in getting it off the ground with full page ads. in many of the most popular papers (including International Times no. 72).
