Esme Choonara

This little pamphlet, written by a member of Britain's currently embattled Socialist Workers Party, is a great introduction to Trotsky's life and thought. Basic fundamentals like the united front, permanent revolution, and internationalism are discussed, plus you get a lite overview of the Russian Revolution and Trotksy's break with Stalin. It is not as detailed as, say, a Very Short Introduction series book might be, but it is still worth the read.
