I'm having to downsize my library and this book is one of the victims of tha. Pity because it's a really interesting book with lovely diagrams and very clear explanations about things like a fever's role in combating infections, or how illicit drugs operate on the synapses in the brain. I've only skimmed the book and have to overcome the illusion that one day I'm going to have the time to sit down and really absorb the content. That's not going to happen so reluctantly, I say farewell ...it helps that the book is now 31 years old so knowledge has come some way since then, Three stars from me.… (mer)
