I must say this is a good book for those who would love to learn more about makeup. It's also a good resources for makeup instructor/students to learn more on the theory of makeup. Those who would love to learn more on how to get perfect looks should get this book! Worth buying!

I picked it up on a whim, hoping for some new information.

I think it's very good if it helps you to see the charts of where to place makeup for the best effect for whatever type of face/eye shape you have, but since I just got confirmation to keep doing what I was doing for the face and didn't get a chart for my eye shape, bah. It's as good for newbies as any other makeup book, I guess. And the boatloads of before and after pictures are nice.

Excellent reference book for styles and technical terms. Before and after treatments are revealing.

I love this book. It is my makeup bible! The pictures are beautiful and the techniques outlined worked wonders for me. I was always clueless about makeup (total tom girl) and now I feel like a pro!
