The conclusion of the Z:Plan series. Cale is finally on American soil, during the zombie apocalypse. A soldier in the Middle East, he has been looking forward to going home to his wife and daughter. But getting home won't be an easy tasking. Not only is he fighting zombies, but there are other enemies out there he must battle. Will Cale find his wife and daughter? Will he make it home, and exactly what is he coming home to?

The fantastic conclusion has Cale up against a lot of danger. We find out about his wife and daughter during this horrible time. There is a lot of drama, action, and tense moments. Well written with developed characters, and descriptive details, we get the feel of what each (person) is thinking, feeling, and what is going on. It felt as if I were there.

I highly recommend Z Plan: Homecoming: to those who love a great zombie story, with a very likable Male lead. I also recommend book one: Blood on the Sand and bool two: Red Tides.… (mer)

Red Tides (Z Plan #2) by Mikhail Lerma

Ride tides picks up right where Blood on the Sand left off. Cale is at sea drifting alone. Ready to go crazy with only his thoughts, and hope of rescue. When help does arrive it is not what he had in mind.

Cale goes through a rough time in this installment. Not only is he facing zombies, he has a group of people not knowing who to trust. His mission is to get back to the States to find his wife and daughter.

A fantastic zombie story with a military twist. Cale is a soldier and very likable. He faces some inner turmoil over what has happened to him, and the recent events with zombies. I don't do spoilers so I won't say much more. Red Tides is a fantastic story, I highly recommend to those who love a great zombie story.… (mer)

Blood on the Sand

Soldier Cale is sent to Iraq, he wants nothing more than to go home to his wife and daughter. He never expected a zombie apocalypse. He and a few of his fellow soldiers decide it is best to desert, and try to "fight the zombies" and head back home. But he has no idea what he is about to endure, and if he will make it home alive.

A very original (zombie) story. I liked the blending of war with zombies attacking. Not only is Cale in danger of zombies, he is in danger of the enemy as well. The characters are well rounded, we get to feel what they are going through, the plot is original, set in the middle east add more tension. There is a lot of action, danger and tense moments.

Cale has a long journey ahead of him, and he soon realizes that it won't be an easy. I love a great zombie story and Z Plan: Blood on the Sand has it all, and more. I also love the cover, it is fantastic and really captures the story. I highly recommend to those who love zombies, war, action, and suspense. I look forward to reading book two and three in the series.… (mer)
