Raymond Lotta

This book collects many of the major public articles from the last part of the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution in China (GPCR). These important primary sources document the battle between the revolutionary left (including Mao and the so-called Gang of Four) and the capitalist roaders (Deng Hsiao Ping et al), and reveal the fundamental differences in approach and on the whole direction of society -- forward to communism or back to capitalism. Raymond Lotta's introduction argues that the GPCR, as revealed in these articles, culminated in the defeat of the revolutionaries, a coup after Mao's death, and with the restoration of capitalism.
