Old Mother Hubbard was about this old lady and her dog. He was hungry and she went to the cupboard to get him a bone but when she returned he played dead. She decided to go get him all of these things that she thought he needed but when she returned she found him doing all kinds of things.
This book was not a book I remembered at a child but it cute for the children. I would use this in my classroom to teach them about rhyming word and to remember poems.

This is a cute story that rhymes so children would really enjoy it. This is a story about a mother and her dog. The dog in the story consistently tries to act human. He does various activities that only humans would do. He reads the newspaper and wears clothes! However, at the end of the story he shows he really is, just a dog, because he cannot talk.
