Meet Kaya av Janet Shaw
Please be aware that as Kaya is Native American she worships differently. There are several instances in this book, for example she is thankful to the fish for letting themselves be food, there is something called “stick people”, there is reference to her brothers behaving as they do because of the sun and moon’s position when they were born.
