fl. 1614. It has been suggested that Robert Tailor the author of The Hogge Hath Lost His Pearl might be the same man as the minor actor Robert Taylor who worked at the Rose playhouse 1601-02, but the name is exceedingly common and there is not enough evidence to decide either way.
