An incredibly helpful book full of practical guidance for pastors, new and old. Wingard rightly focuses on the ordinary means of grace-preaching, administering the sacraments, and prayer-before moving to particular situations (weddings, funerals, etc.) all pastors will find themselves in at one time or another. This is not a one-time read, but something I imagine I will return to frequently for tips and advice throughout my ministry.
