Om migI LOVE to read and have ever since I was little. I will read anything put in front of me, though I tend to read mostly fantasy, YA and historical fiction.

I am in my senior year of college, getting a degree in Biomedical Science with minors in Global Studies and Chemistry. I plan to go to medical school and specialize in pediatric intensive care.

Saw on one of the Green Dragon threads that you used to live in New Orleans. Before moving to Michigan, then Maryland, I lived in Alexandria, LA for a few years. Even got my BS from Northeast Louisiana University, now Un. of LA Monroe.

Most of my work in the area of organ donation is working directly with patients, families and OPOs. I would recommend going on line and reading the Uniform Anatomical Donation Act (I think that is what it is called.) Check your state to see if they have a donation act (many states adopted one.) Find out who your local OPO (Organ Procurement Organization) is, and see if anyone there will talk to you.

There is a book by Robert Finn, simply called Organ Transplants. I have not had a chance to read it, but it looks good.

I've started a group thats dedicated just to discussing HP and the Deathly Hallows. its called HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS ONLY. We could all post about the last book there so that is will be contained and we won;t have to worry as much aobut spoilers. Join when you finish the book.
