This looks like the most active group on the topic, so I wanted to bump it in the hopes of re-starting some conversations.

This is how it always is does a remarkable job of portraying a loving family where each one tries to make good decisions for the benefit of everyone. Only it’s messy; never wrapped up in perfection. These are people you’d like to have in your own life.

Every Day addresses gender fluidity in one person. It’s sf/fantasy where the main character floats randomly into and out of other children’s bodies and personas and having no anchoring self except its memories of that history. Thought provoking.

I don't really do favourites. I will recommend Michael Cunningham's new novel, Day. I won't repeat my review here.
