The illustrations give me an N. C. Wyeth vibe, which is a good thing.

Hmm, I can't find more than a few listings for Books Illustrated Limited in Abebooks. Wuthering heights not among them :(

Maybe I’m getting old, but I’d have to read this with a ruler to help me find the beginning of the next line when I’m done with the current one.

>4 What_What: It's not just you. As a work of art, I see the appeal, but it doesn't look like a comfortable reading experience.

'Edited and abridged text'? Wuthering Heights is not my favourite book, nor have I read it recently, but it's not overburdensome in length - why does it need either treatment?

Well, to the naysayers, I love the paintings and drawings, and there is a lot of padding in the Brontes' books, so happy to skip excessive descriptions of landscapes etc.
I agree that the wide lines can be difficult to read, but the type is not too small.

Thank you all for your comments about Wuthering Heights. It was a lovely publication to do with Christian Birmingham. I also really like the numerous pencil vignettes that illustrate this edition. We only have a few Collectors (shown thanks to Warwick) and a couple of Deluxe Leather bound editions. Their links are below:
Collectors Edition: https://books-illustrated-ltd.myshopify.com/products/wuthering-heights-collector...
Deluxe Edition: https://books-illustrated-ltd.myshopify.com/products/wuthering-heights-limited-e...
These links will also have a video interview with Christian discussing this book with me. We shot it on the day he signed the edition at the printers.
IPS I have never been able to work out how to post photos here, so anyone that can send me simple details, it would be much appreciated.
Merry Christmas to you all.
Mike

I think the illustrations look fantastic. The text layout does seem unusual but when I read a sample page seemed easy enough to follow.
