Paulo Coelho

I noticed that Paulo Coelho will be on the Barnes and Noble Book Club message board September 15-19 promoting his new book The Pilgrimage --sorry can't get touchstone.

Anyhow, I thought since I hadn't read his books that are in the 1001, I'd take this opportunity to read those titles and chat with him.

I've started with Veronika Decides to Die.

I thought the Pilgrimage has been out in English for a while. I get so confused because Brida just came out in English, even though it was one of his earlier books. I read it in Spanish a couple of years ago. I am pretty sure I read the Pilgrimage in English, though.

I have it in English, published 1998 according to the blurb inside.
Same publisher as that specified in the link #1 provided too.

My bad. I assumed since that was the book he was talking about, it was probably new.

My point, however,and the reason I posted is that I thought people in this group might enjoy a chance to chat with one of the 1001 authors.
