If you want a reference book for handmaking felt and felt objects, this is it. It covers wet-felting, nuno or laminate felting, and needle felting. It also gives wonderful introductions to how a variety of wools and other fibers will felt up-- with photos. Techniques are shown as part of projects, with lovely photos of each step. Lots of helpful charts about suitable equipment for different projects and fibers. (Obviously, not all wool breeds are covered). Definitely a keeper for anyone who wants to direct felt. ( )
