An excellent account of David's life that ties in to things we may be facing (our own giants) with encouraging stories and words that can help you to face them. Very helpful! ( )

This was another enjoyable, well-written book by Max Lucado. Using the Bible's story of David, Lucado explained each stage of David's life as it related to his faith and his relationship with God. What makes this book so readable is Lucado's writing style, his humor and honesty. What makes this worth reading is discovering how to "face your giants" as David did. ( )
