A missed opportunity, this 'encyclopedia' is too skimpy on detail for the entries it does contain but on top of that it misses entries that it should have included. People might argue that maybe Harvey Comics' Hot Stuff, Little Lotta and Wendy the Good Little Witch were second stringers behind Casper the Friendly Ghost and Richie Rich (both included) but how could Goulart include Golden Age obscurity Phantom Lady but not find space for an entry on the number 1 superhero cult figure The Phantom? And what about Sad Sack? Any half-serious comics buff could reel off many names missing from this book. Nice to flick through but hardly an "ultimate guide". This book could have been so much better. The entries are incomplete, leaving out a great deal of information. They also vary in format, which means different types of information are missing in different entries. This book can only very loosely be referred to as an "encyclopedia". It is more like fan-generated material. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
