Shuri's science fiction adventure set in and near Wakanda was fun and creative, and I love Nic Stone's writing, but I felt like I was hearing more of Nic Stone's voice than Shuri's sometimes. Occasional comments were funny, but they didn't quite ring true as something Shuri would say or think. Most of the story (besides Shuri's journal entries) was written in third person, which is probably why I had trouble feeling like I was really getting to know Shuri. I think Shuri and K'Marah's friendship is portrayed really well, and overall I recommend this series for a fun read. ( ) inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
