After a busy day and hectic night, six little bunnies worry that their much put-upon mother will be angry with them. But she reassures them that no matter what mood they are in (or presumably, what they have done), they will always be lovable to her. When she herself has fallen asleep on the couch, after cleaning up the house, her own father comes in and reflects on the fact that she, the mama bunny, will always be lovable to him...

A sweet reassurance tale in the vein of such classics as Guess How Much I Love You, this picture-book from author Kat Yeh and illustrator Sue Anderson adds another generation to the mix, highlighting that just as parents extend unconditional love and support to their children, so they too have benefited from such love and support, given to them by their own parents. I liked this multi-generational approach to the reassurance story, thought the rhyming text was quite readable, and found the artwork by Sue Anderson quite cute. In sum: a sweet little addition to the reassurance-story genre, one I would particularly recommend to anyone looking for tales which emphasize the bonds of love that united multiple generations of a family.
