YES!
I love that the author, not seeing themselves or their heritage, represented in books, they wrote one. I did not know that there were a lot of Cuban Jewish people in Miami. Or about the ladino language (which is Judeo-Spanish apparently). This book was an eye opener for me. And I just thought it was sweet.
Sure it seemed to have holes in the text.....or maybe it was due to my wanting more out of it. BUT I am excited to showcase this book!… (mer)
