I love this book! It is short, sweet and to the point! A perfect book to keep on the shelf for a quick reference.

In The Addicted Child, the author has issued a warning and needed information for parents, and others, to aid in fixing the problem.

The author is concise to the point, informative - both physically and mentally, yet has given enough detail and illustrations to support his consensus.

In this book, it is pointed out, the seriousness of this problem. The damaging effect in brain processing, how, if approached wrongly, the problem can get worse. There are studies given on statistics in various scenarios. For instance, there is proof of marijuana's damaging effects on the brain. If the user begins at a young age, it can cause a dependency, thus disputing the claims of the harmlessness of marijuana.

This book also describes abuse terms, types, and effects. Is your behaviorism conducive to an addict? You can discover all this in his easily read book.

*This book was gifted me, with no pressure for a positive review. This is my honest review.

I was given this book as part of a blog tour in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influenced my review.

Is the United States of America truly a nation that follows God's principles? This is the question that this books seeks to answer. Filled with scripture and statistics, the overall message of the book was very meaningful and the topics were interesting. This book has an incredible amount of potential but I believe that it fell short in a few areas.

Throughout the book, I felt like there where too many statistics and quotes and not many original ideas. There were too many facts and not many conclusions. I sometimes got lost in the statistics and forgot what point the author was trying to make.

I really enjoyed the Biblical messages throughout the book. The message of not being gluttonous, greedy, lustful, ect. was a meaningful message. The parts of the book that included original ideas was very thought provoking. Although I do agree with much of what this book states, many problems of why the United States is not a God following nation were presented but a solution to this problem was not discussed in this book. If there were more unique ideas and solutions to the problems presented throughout this book, I would have enjoyed it much more.

Overall, the message was wonderful but the statistics bogged down much of the book. Even though this book was not the perfect book for me, it may be for you. I encourage you to give this book a try.

In A Nation Under Judgment, author Richard Capriola engages the reader in a thought provoking discussion of how our nation has fallen from the governing principles of grace and wisdom of One Nation Under God that our founding fathers had intended.

Through a well researched, documented, and thoughtful construction, the author provides a richly descriptive book full of statistics, trends, examples, and fundamental Christian principles and scriptures to convey the message that our nation and its leaders need to turn away from its current individual and selfish practices and social policies back towards the original intentions of wisdom and care for all of the nation's citizens that our founding fathers had wanted the nation to be governed by.

A Nation Under Judgment is an intriguing and resourceful book that every US citizen should read. The author engages the reader in a conversation that will open their eyes and encourage them to call upon the leaders of our nation to stop their individual pursuits or inaction in regard to the social policies of our nation (hunger, homelessness, abortion, marriage, poverty, greed, etc), and empower them to restore the governing of our nation under the vision, intended practices, and wisdom of One Nation Under God.

Disclaimer: I received a copy of the book from the author / publisher in exchange for my honest review and participation in a virtual book tour event hosted by Pump Up Your Book Tours.
