Pretty cool book about the ukulele by one of the members of the fabulous Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. Starts with a who's who in the uke world, then gets into the instruments and some musical pieces to practice with chords, strum patterns, some theory about chord inversions and more. Not necessarily a beginner's book, but certainly a perfect book for someone who has plunked a few chords and wants to know more about this sweet little instrument.
Written in happy tones, just like the uke plays, with humour throughout.

I felt plucky right away and I wanted to practice immediately so it had its purpose. Plus, now I know more about Tiny Tim than I ever thought I would. Highly recommended for those with an interest in ukes.… (mer)
