Jill Hayworth

Ultra-dumb erotic-thriller that sees three friends Amanda (Regina Russell), Lisa (Shauna O'Brian) and Tracy (Kira Reed) falling out with each other after staging a tabloid scandal. They put the boot into each other mercilessly but are friends again by the end with everything solved by a few glasses of good Scotch and the return of their boyfriends. There is a story of sort here by director Jill Hayworth and she uses it reasonably well to give a modicum of credibility to the softcore shenanigans. The three leading ladies are fine in what they do, even displaying a touch of acting talent on occasion, but they aren't assisted by having to play against a particularly wooden set of men. The low budget stage settings don't help much either, but there is enough story and enough general silliness to keep the thing mildly entertaining all the way to its fatuous, they all live happily ever after ending.… (mer)
