children's graphic comics (4th-6th grades?) translated from French.
A superhero who can reach into past and future frames of the comic strip he inhabits to make his crime-fighting adventures easy and quick. Most of the comics are completed in a single page, making it great for reluctant readers who can't get enough comics, with a variety of situations and vocabulary that should help build reading comprehension skills in a fun way (yay, comics building literacy!).

For everyone else, though, this is kind of a yawn (20 pages or so are enough). If your kids have exhausted all of the Captain Underpants and Wimpy Kids, see if they'll read this.… (mer)

Una piccola chicca questa proposta editoriale di Comicon, il solo vero supereroe del fumetto, l’Imbattibile di Pascal Jousselin. Non è alto, non è forte, ha una tuta gialla che lo renderebbe addirittura ridicolo. Ma l’imbattibile utilizza l’incredibile magia del fumetto che gli consente di risolvere le situazioni più difficili passando da una vignetta ad un’altra. Proprio l’inverosimile ventaglio di soluzioni rende questo fumetto davvero gradevole e mi ha consentito in giorni davvero impossibili di trovare la forza per cercare un sorriso.
