No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
Heroine is engaged when she meets the Hero but she has met her intended twice, disliked him both times. It is a business arrangement made by her father whether she wants it or not.
Tortured Hero over heroine leaving after initial ONS.
Hero is cruel to the heroine on remeeting not knowing all the circumstances of her broken off engagement and pregnancy.
Hero says he 'dated' during separation though he went to great lengths first to find the heroine after she left. He is about to enter an arranged marriage for business advancements with another woman when the heroine reenters his life.
