I love this book.

It was an enjoyable diversion and an entertaining read. I hated to finish it because the plot and characters were so compelling. This is not a typical, can guess the ending, book. Nothing by rote here. I was surprised, and astonished and loved the well drawn characters. I'm a new, true fan.

I thought this was an interesting book, but it didn’t have the “historical” elements I would have appreciated more. I found its’ jumping back and forth was confusing and the fantasy fiction parts with the more graphic details were somewhat unnecessary to the storyline. I wouldn’t read it again, but only because of the jumpy timeline.

I typically like historical fiction so I was very excited to receive this for review. I enjoyed the story for the most part but had trouble following some of the plot because it includes flashbacks. If you get over some of those difficulties, it was good!

I enjoyed reading this book. One of the things I really enjoyed was how it had a lot of back stories incorporated into the book throughout. I also liked the way the book was written. I have recommended this book to friends who enjoy the mystery of creatures and historical and current back stories. I would read this book again. It was a bit confusing at the beginning but once you figured out what was going on. I thought it became a good book.
