Daniel Lak is a former journalist with the BBC who reported on India and Pakistan for more than 12 years. He covered the rise and fall of the Taliban, Kurdish refugee crises in Iran, and India's nuclear weapons tests in 1998. Lak now lives in Toronto, where he is a writer and documentary filmmaker.
