The more that I read the series the more I get into them.
Skye Morrison is a woman that has found out that the unbelievable is really the believable. She puts on such a strong front but she is really holding deep secrets that make her doubt her true worth. She hates being lied to and having choices taken out of her hands. That is what she felt had been done to her. In this book things change and the adventure becomes even more exciting.
Archer Is a vampire and Skye had worked for him at his club. He knew with everything that had happened that he was going to have to let her go. That all changed when she was cut by a sword and her life was slipping away from her. Archer did what he had to do for the woman that he loves and turn her into what she didn’t want to be…a vampire.
I love how the author just keeps you in suspense with every single book. You are kept on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. I have been wanting Archer and Skye to be together and I was beginning to think that it would never happen. You can feel all the emotions that they have been going through from the very beginning. You know they love each other but they fight it so others won’t get hurt.
I believe the scene with the trial that Skye has to go through to prove she is worthy to live is the most nail biting experience that I have read in awhile. I was feeling all the emotions that Skye was going through. I was so scared and wondering what would happen next.
Just when I think that this would be the last book and I would have to let the series go I find out that there is another book. I have two feelings at once. I was happy to know that I would get to read even more and surprise because I was wondering what else this author could pull out of her imagination. What more can she give us and will we see an end to the evil Amun? Now I hate that I will have to wait for awhile to read the fifth book in the series.
I just want to tell the author that I have really enjoyed reading every single one of the books in this series. I would recommend this book to everyone who loves vampires and wolves. You get romance, laughs, sadness and adventure.… (mer)
