Very colourful book with large photographs of average tween girls. I find the colour layout put me off a bit actually as there's almost too much going on graphically that doesn't really add any value to the text. Indepth chapter of periods including a few first period stories, but only mention pads or tampons as possible protection....no mention of reusable pads or menstrual cups. A lot of positive body affirmations and beauty reinforcement.
