Michael C. Rogers (1923–2005)

This was the first book I used to starting to learn Korean while working in a Korean church. Most of the Koreans thought it was okay - which means that really didn't like it. There complaint was that it taught some of the old Korean, and lacked at teaching students contemporary Korean conversational skills. With that said its primary strength is teaching Korean grammar. That has hardly changed.
