Everyone possesses at least one friend. This book is perfect in describing what that friendship is fundamentally about. Also containing some amazing quotes of the do's and don'ts of friendship. This is a book that would make a splendid gift but make sure to get a copy for yourself. My opinion is that you must buy the actual book. Purchasing an e-book gives you the ability to read the quotes, but you will lose out on the superb pictures and the quality of the book. In the front of the book is a special area to write the name of the person receiving it plus who the book is from also enough space for a little note. Nice touch Gabi. Inspirational Picture Quotes about Friendship is more than just a book it is something special to be given between friends. Quotes arise from people of all walks of life. Copious authors such as C.S. Lewis, who wrote the Chronicles of Narnia; philosophers; Pascal, who did wonders for math as a mathematician and physicist; a Rabbi; politicians including Hubert Humphrey the U.S.A's 38th Vice President; a Spanish Jesuit; musician; my favorite since I am from Detroit Henry Ford who founded the Ford Motor Company; plus many more. Front-runner of quotes for me is by Alice Walker "No person is your friend who demands your silence, or denies your right to grow". This is a breathtaking book meant to be had by everyone and anyone.

"Thank you, Gabi Rupp, for letting me give an HONEST review of your book"

This book is dazzling. Every page contains a lovely picture and uplifting quotes about hope. This book everyone should own. Why might you ask? Every individual on this planet is in need of hope. There will be a quote that will have a positive influence on you. One of the great things is the quotes are by people of all types from all around the world and multiple eras. Quotes are from authors, theologists, philosophers, leaders, chemists and many more. Here are a few people that I found intriguing in the book: Tom Bodett, you know him, "I'm Tom Bodett for Motel 6, and we'll leave the lights on for you"; Emma Goodman an anarchist known for her political activism; Madeleine L'Engle, who wrote A Wrinkle in Time; Napoleon; Earvin "Magic" Johnson; and also Robert H. Goddard, who built the world's 1st liquid-fueled rocket. The book is broken down into sections for example happiness, optimism, purpose, etc. Hope Quotes is the kind of book that you need in paperback. It is so stunning to the eye an e-reader would not do this book justice. It is the perfect gift to give any person of any age. In the beginning, it contains an excellent area to write to whom you are gifting the book and an area to place your name also. I would recommend this book to anyone. Everybody needs some hope in their life.

This is a really nice book filled with inspirational quotes for many of the challenges in life that are faced on a regular basis. It is only 35 pages long and there is no need to read the quotes in order so I can see myself coming back to it often when I need something to make me feel better about life. My only disappointment is that it is an ebook and not a hard copy that I could easily refer to and make notes or comments in for myself.

Please note: I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Life Quotes is visual treat and mind expanding food for your soul! Wonderfully selected quotes from all eras, countries and walks of life are universal in appeal, thus this book can be used as a gift book for any occasion as well as for your personal reflection. If you are wondering if the kindle version displays well on an iPad, set apprehensions aside as two pages display beautifully together. I did receive a copy in return for an honest review from the author.

Another tour de force from Gabi Rupp. The picture backgrounds were excellent. There was no contest between timely quotes and artistic themes. I particularly liked the quote, "If you think education is expensive try ignorance." Too much of that around particularly in the public arena. Handy gift for the aspiring student or enthusiastic senior.
This ebook was a gift from the author for an honest review.

(Copy was provided to read and review, thanks to the author and LibraryThing.)

Beautiful and relaxing photos offer the right background for inspirational quotations from famous and not so famous people.
All quotes are connected with love and they are collected under various themes (like: marriage, family, giving, loss, even madness is covered) and that way it's easy to look up something for a special occasion or to find something to suit your mood.

Love Quotes is just the right book for a relaxing and uplifting moment. It offers you a breather throughout a hectic day.
A lovely wee book for a bit of me time every day.

This is the third book in this author’s Inspirational Picture Quotes series of books I’ve read, and the second one which I’ve been fortunate to have received through a giveaway on LibraryThing.com; and the following is my honest opinion for it.

While the first book I read dealt in this series dealt which HOPE which need to get by to the next day, especially if we’re facing any sort of turmoil in our lives; and the second book I read dealt with all of the HABITS we all have in what we do on a daily basis; this book deals with the one thing we CAN’T do without, which is LOVE.

The quotes contained within this book with have you laugh, feel warm inside, lift your spirits, and kindle the flame of what we all want to experience with that special person in our lives.

The advice I gave in my other two reviews for the books in this series, still holds true for this one: “To fully appreciate this book to its utmost you need to read each quote the author has selected for each picture separately, close your eyes and then meditate briefly on the words you’ve just read.”

The carefully selected quotes are quite vivid and almost awe inspiring in communicating the message the various aspects of what we call LOVE.

I would again advise anyone purchasing a KINDLE Edition of this book to view this book two pages at a time to fully capture the beauty of the pictures the author has selected for each set of quotes.

For allowing us, the readers of this book, to closely examined our individual experiences of LOVE, I’m giving this book 5 STARS.

Although the KINDLE Edition has been offered for FREE when I went to download it, the KINDLE App for PC had not been offered as one of the devices; but I was able to read it on my kind neighbor’s KINDLE device.

This is the second book in the author’s Leanjumpstart Series I’ve had the pleasure of reading/reviewing, and the timing of its release couldn’t have come at a better time as I’d recently reviewed her book “Clean Eating Miracle: 52 Chef Habits;” a plan my OH and I are beginning to follow.

We’ve all got all kinds of habits; some good, some bad, and those we don’t actually realize we have or are doing in our daily lives; which includes me.

To fully appreciate this book to its utmost you need to read each quote the author has selected for each picture separately, close your eyes and then meditate briefly on the words you’ve just read. The carefully selected quotes are quite vivid and almost awe inspiring in communicating its message.

I would advise anyone purchasing a KINDLE Edition of this book to view the pages of this book two at a time to fully capture the beauty of the picture the author has selected for each habit.

For allowing her readers to journey within themselves to ponder over the habits they might be guilty of having [be honest with yourselves] and hopefully arrived at some resolution regarding them, I’m giving this book 5 STARS.

Rupp's book is perfect as a gift book especially at Valentine's Day or an engagegement or wedding anniversary. The quotes are well chosen by writers and sages you'd expect, but also the unexpected such as John Mayer. What intrigued me the most was the love quotes under categories of Force, Irrationality, and Madness which makes you really think. This is a small volume, but one you need to digest slowly and ponder and would be excellent to use as discussion starters with your loved one. I received a paper copy for review from Goodreads First Reads.

I received a PDF.file copy of this book in connection with an internet giveaway and the following is my honest opinion.

Having been retired for 5 years and having my OH retiring at the end of last year [and putting aside my dear’s current physical condition], I wanted for us to start eating heartier something we’ve not really done in the past.

The beauty of Ms. Rupp’s book is that while she’s written it as a 52-week plan, it’s not set in stone and you can either do it in any order which interests you or do several at a time in order to reap all the benefits the book has to offer faster.

Following the book as she has intended for her readers to do is akin to taking baby steps to attain reach your goal. Each week is comprised of 3 steps [primarily to begin with] and has a web link which goes into greater detail. It’s amazing how the small changes you’re asked to make will benefit you in the end. And at the end of each week’s item there’s an appropriate thought provoking quote.

I would love to see this book, which is currently only available as a paperback, converted to a KINDLE Edition so the greatest number of individuals could benefit from it. For wanting all those who read this book to begin having a healthier lifestyle, I’m giving this book 5 STARS.

When we face obstacles and treat them as challenges rather than problems we find the stepping-stones into a new horizon. Being alive and more importantly knowing you are aware and alive comes through gratitude. Rupp’s little book gives us images and quotes as reminders. I particularly liked the quote from Meister Eckhart, the Middle-German mystic, “If the only prayer you said in your whole life was ‘thank you,’ that would suffice. It is something we may forget in our instant access and throwaway society.

My mother was fond of the expression “The early bird gets the worm,” and to my surprise a little Robin appears on page 8 with that expression, as we peruse habits, their use and influence. We don’t realize how much of our life is conditioned by habit. Try changing the way you put on your shoes or sandals in the morning. Embedded habits may lead to enrichment or addiction but all habits can be modified. As Rupp reminds us don’t be lazy and rest before you get tired.

Note: I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I received a KINDLE copy of this book through a giveaway on LibraryThing [dot] com and the following is my honest opinion.

If you’ve ever heard the saying of a picture being word a thousand words than you can easily see what Ms. Rupp has done here with the carefully selected quotes from famous people.

When I first opened this book on the KINDLE App on my computer I fell into the trap of merely reading what I saw in front of me. However, this book needs to read extremely slow to capture the beauty of both the pictures and the quotes attached to them. To further enhance my reading experience I changed the setting so I could view two pages, allowing me to view the full picture and all the words at once; followed by going to the full screen viewing.

To fully appreciate this book to its utmost you need to read each quote the author has selected for each picture separately, close your eyes and then meditate briefly on the words you’ve just read. The carefully selected quotes are quite vivid and almost awe inspiring in communicating the message of hope.

It is for this reason I’m giving this book 5 STARS.

I received a copy of this book in exchange of a honest review. This book was beautifully done, the quotes from the book were great. I love the layout of the book. It was a quick read. Most of the quotes that were in the book, I have heard before, but it was also refreshing to see new quotes that I have never seen before. I love this book!!!!!!

This is an excellent planner to develop and stay with a routine for healthy eating. It uses a 52-week guide for nutrition based on current science and common sense. Unique is the resource capacity to go to the author’s website to download additional guidance or information as you establish your habits. And the author reinforces with suggestions for meditation, gratitude and rewards and colorful charts to plot one’s success or failure. I particularly enjoyed the “Rules for a flat stomach” since mine is not and the use of Chia seeds and Quinoa (my daughters use these all the time). Less helpful was the exercise on a trampoline as not age appropriate for me and also the Mason jar salad routine since we pick our vegetables and fruit fresh every day. The author is compassionate, uses sound psychology, is not a food faddie and has a keen insight for healthy living. A good investment for good habits…

How can you live without friendships? You can't. Gabi Rupp has a collection of inspirational quotes and captivating pictures that describes the power of friendship. This is a jewel that you will want to give to your special friends and keep a copy for yourself on your computer. One of my favorite quotes "one loyal friend is worth ten thousand relatives." Loyal friends keep you from loneliness and help you live longer.

Hope is the forgotten virtue that comes into play when we are stressed or overwhelmed by the negativity of our daily routine. We are constantly reminded in the media of war, corruption, death and despair. Rupp’s little book offers us a pictorial journey with images and mindful quotes that are sure to give us the courage to face our challenges “one more time”. This is a sweet little collection of quotes from many people about friendship. You can whip through it in no time but I chose to only read a page or two at a time, more to savour it and think about them. The pictures that accompany the quotes are so vibrantly colourful, some breathtaking.
I expected a little more warm and fuzzy, some were just matter of fact but my favourite section was definitely the ones under the heading "stand the test of time."½
