Its amazing the extent to which Kibaate seems drawn to Damulira, even after Damulira claims Kibaate as his slave. Why does Kibaate not leave him at this point? in this i am puzzled.The irony is that they both desire some form of power; Damulira over Kibaate, and Kibaate over his wife. Kibaate does not see this new connection between the two, the first being his unwillingness to physically detatch himself from Damulira.
He does not even relise that this is the same Damulira that he stole his wife from. Damulira questions the man, but does damulira realise that Kibaate is referring to him?… (mer)
