TOMAS TERMOTE, ...

First impressions concern the book itself - heavy (printed on good quality art paper), well bound (Sewn sections), well designed and crisply printed. Pictorial bound hardcover. Excellent production.
The text is well translated from the original Dutch, and superbly illustrated. My only complaint is a lack of an index, and a tabluated record of when individual U-boats were attached to the Flotilla would have been useful.
But these are minor points. The book itself looks to be THE essential account of U-boats, crews and operations of the Flottilla Flandern.
I will probably update this when I have had more time to study and use the book.… (mer)
