My best find of 2023 was the ‘Date with…’ series by Julia Chapman: Disgraced undercover London cop, Samson, returns home to the Yorkshire Dales desperate to prove his innocence; there, feisty farmer’s daughter, Delilah, has her own struggles…

I’m up-to-date with the series, with one due 2024, Date with Justice; apart from that, I don’t necessarily have anything planned (but that’s the way I always work, ☺️).

I really liked The Dry and its sequels by Jane Harper.
Caroline Cooney's adult mystery series is excellent. In 2023, I read the second one, The Wrong Good Deed.
These were two more that I really liked: The Woman in the Library by Sulari Gentill and All That Is Mine I Carry with Me by William Landay.
Lastly, I read the fourth Thursday Murder Club book - The Last Devil to Die by Richard Osman. I'm thrilled to read that he will be writing more for the series.

I became infatuated with cozy mysteries as a genre, more specifically the "Cat in the Stacks" series and the "Knitting Mysteries" series by Maggie Sefton.

Thanks to our group reads earlier, I also began the Sebastian St Cyr series since I liked the setting, details, and explanations that are so well-worded.
