Simple text combines with energetic computer-generated artwork to take readers from the beginning to the end of a construction job. In rhythmic fashion, "Boss says" what the next step in the process is and the equipment operators follow orders, slowly building something from nothing. The final two-page spread shows families walking around enjoying the finished park that has been created. Kids who can't get enough of bulldozers and front-loaders and cement mixers will be fully engaged.
