I love to fine a good, clean interesting love story. One that I am not worried about recommending to others. A Cry of the Heart is a very good book. It's interesting, sweet, clean and has a great life lesson. If you love someone, you don't try to change them. That's not our job. Pray for them and let God lead you and them. The two main characters had a lot of bad things happen in their past they had to get over. Their closeness and childhood history, helped them to grow and get through this. (

Nicole and Andrew/Ace knew each other as kids, but then life separated them. Now adults, they meet again. Nicole is now an overly cautious woman, afraid of getting hurt, and Ace is now a man who believes he isn't lovable and runs away from love when it is offered to him.

During settling his aunt's estate, Ace learns that she did want him, but the authorities decided he was better off elsewhere. Ace also persuades Nicole to take some risks with her business, but can he convince her to take the risk of loving him? (
