WOW! If you think Claire went through a lot in the last book then get ready!! This book she has to endure oh so much more!! Just as she and Exos had finally started caring for each other, someone managed to kidnap and lock him down through evil means. Not even Cyrus can sense him! All her other potential mates are out of whack. Between desperately trying to find Exos, figure out who is behind repeatedly attacking Claire and taking Exos, messing with the emotions of the other guys, trying to stay alive, and along the way learning a few major truth bombs! This book is one woozy of a read! I cannot wait to see the next book where I'm expecting a full on beat down of the big bad!!!! Three cheers for Claire!!! ( )

I'm loving Lexi Foss, the Elemental Fae Academy has everything that a person craves in a book. Emotions of all kinds, danger can be found everywhere and you never know who is friend or foe. This is a great 2nd book in this series. It is a must that the books be read in order as each one connects to the next right one immediately. I can't wait until I'm reading book 3. ( )

So this starts off right where we left things hanging in the previous book with Exos Kidnapped by persons unknown and a new player his brother Cyrus the reigning king coming into play on the chessboard and almost from the onset Cyrus manages to behave like a complete jackass totally and intentionally rubbing Clare and her new posse up the wrong way.
So everyone here gets there chance to shine and take a hold of the reins regarding the progressing narrative.
Six differing POV's: it shouldn't work but it did magnificently and I loved how it enabled us to understand and as a result become closer to each individual character.
Every one of Clares mates brought something she needed to the table and all had there own particular strengths and individual personalities.
All of the elements are now in place even if some mates are still somewhat resistant we are now playing with a full-stack.
We have the missing Exos for Spirit, Cyrus is Water, Titus Fire, Vox is Air and finally, Sol is Earth.
I also really adored how each mate had there own pet-name for claire made it easier to set them apart in my head as well as being super sexy, Also, Cyrus himself did grow on me as he does redeem himself eventually.
The temperature dial most certainly got turned up a notch here and I found myself seriously over-heating at times.
This also didn't end on a major cliffhanger which was fab more like a reveal though I do want book three like right now as I am really looking forward to the concluding piece of this delicious puzzle.
This one is book two out of three and does need to be read in order.
Highly recommend this series especially if you're partial to more slow-burn reverse harem this one is really well done.
The authors themselves have done a fantastic job and this series gets my seal of approval.
